Volunteer role
Local Community Outreach Coordinator
A volunteer steward who carries Netism into the towns, campuses, and gathering places where seekers already are.
Netism grows through presence in real places, and that presence has to reach far past Houston. Every town with a spiritual community, every college campus, every place where people gather to tend their inner lives is a place where Netism belongs. The Local Community Outreach Coordinator makes that presence real on the ground, one relationship and one conversation at a time. This is the work of changing how humanity relates to itself, to the earth, and to the sacred, carried out where you already live.
What you would do
- Identify aligned local businesses and reach out to them.
- Place flyers and booklets in welcoming locations.
- Build relationships with wellness spaces in your area.
- Represent Netism at local meetups and events.
What you bring
You do not need to be in Houston. If you live near a spiritual community, a college town, or a wellness hub, you are exactly who we need, exactly where you are. This role suits someone at ease starting conversations, steady in following through on small commitments over time, and warm when speaking for the tradition in front of strangers. What matters most is a genuine care for the people you meet and a willingness to keep showing up in your own corner of the world.
How to express interest
This is volunteer stewardship of the tradition. No one at Netism is paid, and Netism covers all role-related expenses. Your time creates real impact in real lives. If this calling fits you, share your interest through the collaborator application.
