Volunteer role

Community Moderator, LivingNetism

A steward who keeps the LivingNetism forums and groups healthy, welcoming, and true to the teachings.

LivingNetism.com holds more than 157 members, and the community grows week by week. Active forums and groups stay healthy when someone tends them with care. A Community Moderator is that person. This is quiet, steady stewardship of the space where seekers meet each other, ask their first questions, and begin to feel that they belong. The tone you hold shapes whether a newcomer stays or drifts away, so the work carries real weight in real lives.

What you would do

  • Welcome new members and help them feel at home from their first post.
  • Monitor the forums and groups for quality and tone.
  • Seed weekly discussion topics tied to the teachings.
  • Flag issues to leadership when a situation needs a wider hand.
  • Uphold the community guidelines with both empathy and firmness.

What you bring

You bring patience and a genuine warmth toward people who are new to the tradition. You read a room well, you sense when a conversation is turning sour, and you act before it does. You can hold a firm line with kindness, so members feel guided rather than policed. Familiarity with the teachings helps, since much of the work involves connecting discussions back to them. A regular, dependable presence matters more than long hours. The community needs someone it can count on to show up.

How to express interest

This is a volunteer position. Netism is a nonprofit spiritual organization, and no one here draws a salary. We cover all expenses tied to the role. Your time creates real impact in real lives, and it carries forward the work of changing how humanity relates to itself, to the earth, and to the sacred.

If this calls to you, tell us through the collaborator application. We read every one, and we will reach out to talk.
