Volunteer role

Blog Writer, Sustainability and Earth Stewardship

A volunteer writer who chronicles real environmental solutions and ties earth stewardship to the principles of Netism.

Environmental stewardship stands among the 9 Points of Netism. The community needs voices that write about what works: the projects, the people, and the progress that show a different relationship with the earth is already underway. This role belongs to a writer who treats conservation as a living practice and carries that practice onto the page for a readership that pays attention.

What you would do

  • Write 2 to 4 blog posts each month on sustainability, conservation, and regenerative living.
  • Cover permaculture, wildlife, water, energy, waste, climate solutions, and ecological design.
  • Highlight real projects, real people, and real progress rather than abstractions.
  • Connect environmental topics to the principles of Netism, so each piece grounds its subject in the tradition.

What you bring

  • A steady writing practice and the discipline to publish on a monthly rhythm.
  • Working knowledge of ecological topics, or the curiosity and rigor to research them well.
  • An eye for concrete stories, the actual work being done in the world, and the ability to render it clearly for a general reader.
  • Openness to editorial feedback from Netism’s leadership, and a willingness to shape your work within the tradition’s voice.

What the role offers

  • A byline and an author page on netism.org.
  • Your accompanying work published on the Netism channels with full credit.
  • A readership of engaged, spiritually conscious people who follow this work closely.
  • Room to cross-promote your own writing, books, and projects within your content.
  • A community that reads, watches, and discusses what you create.
  • Editorial support and feedback from Netism’s leadership.

How to express interest

This is a volunteer position. Netism is a nonprofit spiritual organization, and no one here draws a salary. The community covers all role-related expenses, and your time goes toward changing how people relate to themselves, to the earth, and to the sacred.

If this work calls to you, send us the collaborator application and tell us what you would want to write about first.
