Volunteer role
Blog Writer, Health, Wellness and the Body
Write grounded, body-centered pieces that carry Netism's teachings into daily practice.
Spiritual growth lives in the body as fully as it lives in the mind. Netism holds this as a plain fact, and the writing that serves the community has to hold it too. This role exists for writers who can carry teaching into the flesh, giving readers grounded, practical pieces on how the body participates in the sacred. Your words help people meet the work where they already are, in their breath, their movement, and their own nervous systems.
What you would do
- Write two to four blog posts each month on holistic health, breathwork, movement, nutrition, and the nervous system.
- Connect body-based practices directly to Netism’s teachings, so the practical and the sacred read as one thing.
- Offer concrete exercises a reader can try the moment they finish the page.
- Frame every piece responsibly. All content is educational, with no medical claims, no diagnoses, and no treatment recommendations. This boundary is firm.
What you bring
- A working knowledge of the body and its practices, breath, movement, nutrition, and the nervous system among them.
- The skill to write clear, practical prose that a reader can act on immediately.
- Care and restraint around health claims, keeping every piece within educational bounds.
- A steady rhythm of two to four posts a month, and openness to editorial feedback from Netism’s stewards.
What this offers you
- A byline and an author page on netism.org.
- Any accompanying videos published on the Netism YouTube channel with full credit to you.
- A growing audience of engaged, spiritually conscious readers.
- Room to cross-promote your own work, books, and projects within your content.
- A community that genuinely reads, watches, and discusses what you create.
- Editorial support and feedback from Netism’s stewards.
How to express interest
This is a volunteer position. Netism is a nonprofit spiritual community, and no one here is paid. We cover all role-related expenses. Your time creates real change in real lives, shifting how people relate to themselves, to the earth, and to the sacred.
If this is your work, tell us through the collaborator application.
