Volunteer role
Blog Writer, Consciousness and Philosophy
Write essays that carry the hard questions of consciousness and reality into clear, generous prose.
Netism is a thinking person’s spiritual path, and it holds up under scrutiny. That standard only stays true if writers keep meeting the hard questions of consciousness, mind, and reality with honesty and care. This role exists so those questions reach readers in prose that is clear, rigorous, and worth their time. You would help translate difficult ideas into language a curious reader can hold, without thinning out the substance underneath.
What you would do
- Write two to four essays each month on consciousness, philosophy, metaphysics, and the nature of reality.
- Engage seriously with classic and contemporary thinkers, drawing their ideas into live conversation.
- Connect philosophical concepts to Netism’s framework so readers see how the pieces fit.
- Take complex ideas and make them accessible without losing their depth.
What you bring
You think carefully about hard problems and enjoy sitting with them. Wide reading across philosophy lets you hold your own with both the old thinkers and the current ones. You write clean prose that respects the reader’s intelligence while opening the door for people new to the material. A steady rhythm of two to four pieces a month suits you, and you welcome editorial feedback as part of making the work better.
In return, you receive a byline and an author page on netism.org, and any accompanying videos are published on the Netism YouTube channel with full credit. Your work reaches a growing audience of engaged, spiritually conscious readers who actually read, watch, and discuss what you make. You are free to cross-promote your own books and projects within your content, and you have editorial support and feedback from Netism’s stewards behind you.
This is volunteer work. Netism is a nonprofit spiritual organization, and no one here draws a salary. We cover all role-related expenses. Your time creates real change in real lives, and it belongs to the work of changing how humanity relates to itself, to the earth, and to the sacred. You can read the 9 Points of Netism to see the ground this work stands on.
