Volunteer role

Author with Netism Press

Write and publish books that carry the teaching into new hands, through the community's own press.

Books outlast a season of posts. They travel where the community cannot go in person, and they place the teaching in the hands of a reader who has never heard the name Netism before. Authors who write for Netism Press give the tradition a lasting voice on the shelf and in the search result, carrying its ideas to people the community would otherwise never reach. This is unpaid stewardship, offered so that the work of changing how humanity relates to itself, to the earth, and to the sacred can find its readers.

What you would do

Netism Press publishes across several fields. As an author, you would write within one or more of them.

  • Spiritual philosophy and metaphysics
  • Consciousness, science, and the nature of reality
  • Sacred history and ancient civilizations
  • Sustainability and regenerative living
  • Personal transformation, healing, and practice
  • Fiction that carries philosophical or spiritual depth

What you bring

This role suits a writer who has something true to say and the discipline to finish it. Bring a completed or well-formed manuscript, or a clear plan for one, in a field the Press publishes. Bring a willingness to work with editors through developmental and copy revisions, so the book reaches its strongest form. Come with patience for the craft, since a book worth publishing takes time to shape.

Netism Press supports the work at every stage. You receive editorial support through both developmental and copy editing, cover design and interior formatting, and distribution to Amazon and other platforms. Your book is promoted through the Netism website, community, podcast, and social channels, and you receive your own author page on netism.org.

How to express interest

Volunteers who wish to write for Netism Press begin through the collaborator application. Come prepared to share a book summary of one to two pages, a chapter outline, a sample chapter or the full manuscript, and a brief biography. Netism is a nonprofit spiritual organization, and no one here is paid. The Press covers all role-related expenses, and your time creates real change in real lives.
