Why We Need This
Netism needs to reach people beyond the internet. Festivals, wellness expos, farmers markets, book events, and spiritual gatherings are where many potential Netists are. We need warm, grounded people who can represent the organization face-to-face and create genuine human connections.
What This Person Would Do
- Staff a Netism booth at public events (setup, engagement, teardown)
- Talk to strangers about Netism in a natural, non-pushy way
- Hand out printed materials (cards, flyers, booklets)
- Collect email signups for the 14-Day Practice using a tablet or signup sheet
- Represent the organization’s values and tone accurately
- Report back on event results (contacts made, materials distributed, observations)
What Netism Covers
Everything. Booth fees, event tickets, travel, lodging if the event requires it, printed materials, display equipment, and food during events. We will never ask you to spend your own money to represent Netism. We cover your way in — all we ask for is your time and your presence.
Important: Accountability Structure
Outreach reps sign a simple Outreach Agreement before representing Netism publicly. This covers what you are authorized to say and do, what you are not (no medical claims, no personal spiritual advice, no financial handling), and how to direct difficult questions to leadership. You will receive a talking points card and training before your first event. For your first few events, a member of leadership will attend with you.
Why This Matters
Community is one of the 9 Points. But community does not grow in isolation — it grows when people find each other. You are the thread that connects someone who has never heard of Netism to a path that could change their life. That is sacred work.
This is a volunteer position. Netism is a nonprofit spiritual organization and all roles are unpaid. Netism covers all expenses related to the role. We ask only for your time and alignment with the 9 Points of Netism.
