Why We Need This

Proper financial management is essential for maintaining our 508(c)(1)(A) status, issuing accurate donation receipts, providing financial transparency to supporters, and meeting the reporting requirements of any grants we receive. Clean books are the foundation of organizational trust.

What This Person Would Do

  • Maintain financial records and bookkeeping
  • Prepare financial reports for leadership and grant reporting
  • Issue and track donation receipts
  • Ensure compliance with IRS requirements for religious nonprofit organizations
  • Assist with budget planning for projects and grants

Why This Matters

Balance — one of the 9 Points — applies to finances as much as to the spirit. An organization that cannot account for its resources cannot be trusted with more. This role ensures that every dollar donated is tracked, reported, and used with integrity.

This is a volunteer position. Netism is a nonprofit spiritual organization and all roles are unpaid. Netism covers all expenses related to the role. We ask only for your time and alignment with the 9 Points of Netism.

This is a volunteer position. Netism is a nonprofit spiritual organization. No one here is paid — not leadership, not staff, not contributors. We are building this together because we believe the world needs it. Netism covers all expenses tied to your role — event fees, software, travel, materials, and equipment. Your time is the only thing we cannot provide for you, and it is the most valuable thing you can give. Every hour you invest here creates real impact in real lives. This is not charity work — this is the work of changing how humanity relates to itself, to the earth, and to the sacred. Read the 9 Points of Netism to understand what you would be part of.
