Why We Need This

Beyond festivals and events, Netism needs an ongoing presence in local communities. Yoga studios, meditation centers, metaphysical shops, co-ops, bookstores, and wellness spaces are natural homes for our materials and message. We need someone who can build those relationships and maintain them.

What This Person Would Do

  • Identify and reach out to local businesses and organizations that align with Netism’s audience
  • Place flyers, cards, or booklets in friendly locations (with permission)
  • Build relationships with yoga studios, meditation centers, metaphysical shops, and co-ops
  • Coordinate with local event organizers for speaking opportunities or booth space
  • Represent Netism at local meetups, circles, or community events

Why This Matters

Unity and community — two of the 9 Points — require that we meet people where they already are. Not everyone finds Netism through the internet. Some people will discover us through a card on a bulletin board, a flyer at a yoga studio, or a conversation at a local market. This role plants those seeds.

  • Existing connections in spiritual, wellness, or alternative communities (any city)
  • Comfortable with face-to-face outreach and networking
  • Good judgment about where and how to represent the organization
  • Self-directed and able to work independently

Nice to Have

  • Marketing or grassroots organizing experience
  • Experience with nonprofit outreach
  • Social media skills for local promotion
