Why We Need This
As sanctuary and community spaces develop, we need guidance on sustainable infrastructure that aligns with Netism’s values of harmony with nature. This means energy, water, waste, and shelter systems that reduce dependence on external grids and can be maintained by the community.
What This Person Would Do
- Advise on solar, wind, and alternative energy systems for community-scale use
- Help design water systems (wells, rain harvesting, filtration, greywater recycling)
- Advise on sustainable building methods (earthships, cob, straw bale, tiny homes, container builds)
- Help plan waste management systems (composting toilets, biodigesters, recycling)
- Create cost estimates and phased implementation plans
Why This Matters
The 9 Points call us to environmental stewardship and collective evolution. A community that depends entirely on external systems is fragile. A community that generates its own power, collects its own water, and builds its own shelter is resilient. This role designs that resilience.
This is a volunteer position. Netism is a nonprofit spiritual organization and all roles are unpaid. Netism covers all expenses related to the role. We ask only for your time and alignment with the 9 Points of Netism.
