Aether Substrate
Definition
The underlying Source Field in Netist cosmology: the non-material ground through which forms, forces, patterns, and consciousness are understood to arise.
Literal meaning
The foundational field or ground beneath manifest phenomena.
Esoteric meaning
The Aether Substrate is the stillness beneath motion and the shared field beneath separation. It is the hidden continuity that lets the Net hold together.
Allegorical meaning
Fish notice one another and forget the water. The substrate is the water.
Extended meaning
Netist sources describe the Aether Substrate as omnipresent, undifferentiated, resonant, and prior to measurable phenomena. When it moves or is disturbed, fields and forms appear. This does not mean the substrate is a physical gas, fluid, or nineteenth-century ether wind. It is closer, in Netist language, to a continuous Source Field whose patterns become matter, energy, light, and relationship.

Usage

Modern physics does not use Netism's Source Field as an accepted scientific model. Some comparison can be made to quantum fields, vacuum structure, spacetime, and zero-point discussion, but those comparisons should be framed as analogy and interpretation.
